Trentino is part of the Yellow Zone, which means you can travel at any time and for any reason within Trentino or to and from other Italian regions that are in white or yellow zones.
Anyone entering Italy from abroad, regardless of origin, must fill in a digital localisation form (EU Digital Passenger Locator Form). However, different documentation may be required depending on the country of departure. For specific information and details, please consult the FAQ at the bottom of the page.
From 6 December 2021 until 31 March 2022, the Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate will be required to take part in certain activities.
GREEN PASS (EU digital Covid certificate)
The COVID-19 Green Certification, better known as the “Green Pass” (EU digital COVID certificate), is necessary to have unrestricted access to places, activities and services (you will find all the details in the FAQ section).
From 6 December, the Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate provide proof of one of the following criteria:
• having received the complete COVID-19 vaccination
• having recovered from COVID-19 within the previous six months
The Covid-19 Green Certificate (Italian “Basic Green Pass") provide proof of one of the following criteria:
• having received the complete COVID-19 vaccination
• having recovered from COVID-19 within the previous six months
• having received a negative result from a rapid antigen test within the last 48 hours, or from molecular test within the last 72 hours.
FACE MASK
You are required to always have a protective face mask with you. You must wear one even outdoors and in white zones (wearing a face mask is not mandatory if, by the very nature of the space or circumstances, continuous social distancing of people who do not live together can be assured).
You are also required to wear an FFP2 type face mask:
• at shows open to the public that are held outdoors and indoors in theatres, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment and live music rooms (and other similar places) and for events and sporting competitions held indoors or outdoors
• on all means of transportation (including closed cableways)
CABLEWAYSThese requirements must be met to access cableways:
• requirement to wear an FFP2 face mask on all closed ski-lift facilities (cableways, gondola lifts, chairlifts with closed windscreen domes)
• possession of Covid-19 Green Certificate for ''enclosed'' lifts (cable cars, gondola lifts and chairlifts, when used with the windscreens closed)
• maintaining the interpersonal distance of no less than 1 metre on the way in and out
CULTURE AND LEISURE
As of 6 December, a Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate is required to access cinemas, theatres, concert halls, live music venues and other cultural institutes with a safe access policy. Starting from 30 December, you must have a Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate to access museums and exhibitions.
From 10 January, to access gyms, swimming pools and sports clubs, wellness centres and spas, theme parks and amusement parks, amusement arcades, bingo halls and casinos, you must show a Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate and wear an FFP2 face mask.
Events, parties and concerts that involve gatherings in outdoor spaces are prohibited from 25 December through 31 March 2022.
Clubs, dance halls and similar activities will remain closed from 25 December through 31 March 2022.
EAT AND DRINK
All catering activities are open, with no maximum limit for the number of diners, both indoors and outdoors. Starting from 6 December and until the end of the state of emergency, the Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate is required for eating at restaurants, bars, etc.
The layout of the tables must ensure distancing of at least one metre, the menu must be viewed online and you must wear a face mask as much as possible indoors.
In dining facilities where there are no seats, entry must be limited.
OVERNIGHT STAYS
As of 6 December, the Covid-19 Green Certificate is required for overnight stays at hotels and other accommodation facilities, farmhouses, private apartments and open-air tourism and accommodation sites, Alpine lodges, hiking shelters and youth hostelsand. Guests at such facilities are also required to have a Covid-19 Green Certificate in order to access the catering services offered by the facility, if these areas are dedicated exclusively to the guests of the facility. Whether the restaurant of the structure also hosts external customers, the Reinforced COVID-19 Green Certificate is required.
