Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park visitor centre - Val Canali 

It offers insights on various themes: natural collections, a library dedicated to Dino Buzzati with the new children's corner, a magnificent garden and much more... In the surroundings of the Villa the easy pedestrian route "Sentiero delle Muse Fedaie" is always open.

Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park visitor centre - Paneveggio 

The Paneveggio Visitor Centre focuses on the great spruce forest of Paneveggio, known as the Violin Forest for the high quality resonance wood it produces, used by violin-makers in the past. The centre also describes the most symbolic forest animals such as the wood grouse or the deer. Not far from the Centre, the latter can be observed in a large enclosure. The Visitor Centre is the starting point for a nature trail with several signalled observation points and information panels.

Information point on the activities and on the mission of the Vanoi Ecomuseum with dedicated set-ups to the seven themes of the Ecomuseum, the water hall and the narrations room. The visito centre hosts always different exhibitions.

Opening times: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. During the Christmas period from Monday to Saturday. From 9am to 12pm

The wood stockpile for the winter becomes art

The traditional stockpile of logs for the winter gets all pretty and takes unexpected shapes along the narrow streets, at the feet of the ancient facades and before the typical balconies, in the small squares, the courtyards, under the stairs, in the hallways and on the very balconies: it gives back stories long past, delivers dreams, reinterprets historical events, tells us of the householders.
