Day 1
Arrival at San Martino di Castrozza
We arrive at San Martino di Castrozza in the late afternoon; just the time to settle down in the hotel and it is almost time for dinner. We decide to start our weekend at the best with some night skiing on the splendid Colverde run, a beautiful "red" served by a fast cableway and lit up for night skiing by a series of light globes that irradiate a soft light on the run with some very charming effects. Following a wide, easily skiable and enjoyable medium-difficulty track, the run winds through an enchanting wood with repeated changes in slope and direction and arrives directly into the centre of San Martino, making it ideal for night skiing.
Hunger really starts to bite, we go up again with the gondola cableway to Rifugio Colverde, where we enjoy a platter of local cold meats and cheese! It is getting late...but we still have time for one last descent, since fun is guaranteed on the tracks until 11.30 pm!

Day 2

Ces-Tognola Ski Area
Today we will get to know the famous “Carosello delle Malghe” (dairy-hut carousel), a route running through the Tognola–Ces Ski Area and offering tracks with different difficulty levels.8.30 in the morning: we put our skis on and we are all set for a day of skiing and good food on the Carosello delle Malghe. From the top of Alpe Tognola - 2.220 m a.s.l. - the cool, crystal clear air of the morning greets us.
A look at the incomparable Pale di San Martino chain, then mask down and we are ready to  inaugurate our first descent on run “Uno”, one of the most exciting carousel tracks: we whiz all the way down to valley, a 800 m drop, savouring every change in slope and a breathtaking view; before going up again for the next descent, however, a stop at Malga Frattazza is an absolute must: here we indulge in a delicious breakfast with homemade cakes. It is interesting to know that this little gem in the woods is also open in the evening for a special dinner: you reach it by snowcat and, after enjoying the Malga delicacies, you toboggan down to valley! An experience that cannot be missed!
Back on the tour, after we return to Alpe Tognola and test the sun-baked tracks high up on the mountains, the carousel runs wind from Cima Tognola all the way to Ces at 2383 m a.s.l. along the beautiful Cristiania run, which provides excellent snow quality at any time of day and throughout the season thanks to an optimal exposure to the north.
From Val Cigolera at the foot of the Cristiania run, where the cosy and brand new Malga Val Cigolera invites us to a tempting break, we go up again, to 2227 m a.s.l., reaching Punta Ces, where we can admire one of the most breathtaking scenery of the whole carousel: the view goes from the Pale to the Lagorai chain, to then descend to the Vette Feltrine and the gentle Primiero valley. Between a red and a black run there is no shortage of refreshment points: a must is Chalet Malga Ces, where at lunch time we indulge in a delicious snack.
We continue, moving again to the Tognola facilities, after tackling an unmissable descent on the “Record” run, one of the most technical red runs in the ski area. When sunset is approaching, we go up again to Alpe Tognola, where a tempting session of cheese tasting, together with local honey and Trentino wines, is expecting us: the Angolino Rustico at the Tognola Self-Service offers the chance to have a very special aperitif, a romantic toast on the terrace while the Pale turn pink, before we face the last return run to valley. We take off our skis, but before returning to the hotel we pop in at the Après Ski Tognola Base Camp, where we have an aperitif in company to finish off the day.

Day 3
Passo Rolle Ski Area
Today we go up to Passo Rolle. The skibus, free of charge thanks to the guest card they gave us at the reception, stops just a short walk away from the hotel. In 15 minutes we are already at the departure point of the Passo Rolle lift facilities. It was really worth it, the scenery here is unique! We are all charged up and decide to experience the thrill of a fairly challenging run!  We go up on the Paradiso chairlift and, once on top, we stop for a few moments to enjoy a truly breathtaking view before we dive into the run of the same name, a wonderful "black" one with repeated changes in slope. The snow is nice and compact, so we go up again to also try the Fiamme Gialle run. After tackling a few runs we move to the opposite side of the ski area. Here we go back up with the Castellazzo chairlift, admiring the unique profile of the Cimon della Pala from a different angle. We descend along the Castellazzo run until we reach Capanna Cervino; warmed up by the sun, we decide to sit down on the terrace where we enjoy a lunch with typical local products. In the afternoon we go back to town to relax and recharge ourselves in the hotel''s brand new spa.
After a fantastic day on the slopes, at 5.30 pm an aperitif is expecting us on the snowcat! Let’s meet at the Après Ski Base Camp, where the snowcat is already waiting for us. The sun begins to set and the snowcat takes us through the woods of Alpe Tognola. After leaving the wood we glimpse from afar the light of torches: on the track: a counter-bar dug into the snow is expecting us! Here we taste the best grappas from Trentino, with fruit, herbal flavours…we are spoilt for choice. Before returning we indulge in a toast with a chalice of Trento DOC, and the Alpenglow spectacle starts before our very eyes. The atmosphere is truly magical. We end the day with dinner at “Da Anita”, a restaurant associated with the “Strada dei Formaggi” (cheese road) initiative, where we enjoy some delicious dishes made with typical local products! From here we can see the nordic skiing track, located in town within the Prà delle Nasse Biotope, where we can ski even after sunset thanks to the light globes that lit up part of the track.
