Palazzo Scopoli - "casa del cibo"

A place of storytelling, history and curiosity

Palazzo Scopoli, a historic building dating back to the year 1000, was originally built in Tonadico as a granary and “bread bank”. It later became an administrative centre, courthouse and a noble residence. Today it has returned to its origins, serving once again as a storehouse and a place dedicated to the food culture of Primiero, as well as a hub of art in all its forms – from painting to design, and from music to literature and theatre.

Its beautiful wooden stube, a lush green garden and a charming view over village life make this space the beating heart of a true open-air museum of taste, created by and for the community.

Here, Trentino’s food and wine productions take centre stage, becoming a showcase of local excellence to be discovered and experienced through authentic encounters. It is not only a meeting place, but also one of storytelling: every typical product tells a story of tradition, community and passion, safeguarded by generations of producers, artisans of flavour, chefs and associations that animate the cultural and culinary life of the valley.
