If you are thinking about spending a few days at the feet of the Pale di San Martino then you must be someone who cares deeply about nature! A huge portion of our region is, in fact, part of the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park, which is famous for its forests of Norway spruce, its biodiversity, the rare beauty of its alpine environments, and, naturally, for the incredible Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
But there is more: we only use clean energy in this corner of Trentino! In short, when you use a ski lift, when you use an electric vehicle, when you ride an e-bike, and even when you charge your smartphone, you are doing it in an environmentally friendly way.
For the municipalities in the valleys of Primiero and Vanoi, declared 100% renewable by Legambiente, water and wood are two precious resources since they allow the operation of 13 hydroelectric and 2 biomass power plants! This has helped us to reduce our CO2 emissions drastically and to focus on a more sustainable future, in the knowledge that living with a low environmental impact is possible and, above all, achievable!
