Cycling is a fantastic way to explore the area in all its beauty, freely and sustainably. Here, in the unspoilt nature of the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park, between the Pale di San Martino, the Lagorai range and the Vette Feltrine, you’ll find over 350 kilometres of trails for all levels – from seasoned bikers to families with children. Worried about the climbs? Wherever you’re headed, an e-bike makes your outing easier, more enjoyable – and above all eco-friendly.
Respect for the environment is a core value for us. That’s why along the cycle and foot paths, at mountain huts and at restaurants you’ll find 30 charging points powered by 100% renewable, zero-kilometre energy produced by the 13 hydroelectric plants throughout Primiero and Vanoi. Charging is simple and free – one more reason to leave the car in the garage and set off on two wheels!
AT YOUR DISPOSAL:
- 25 public charging stations installed by ACSM, free to use via the Zeus App. Just select your chosen station on the map – or scan the QR code on the station itself – and follow the instructions on your smartphone. Each station also comes with a tool compartment for minor repairs. The service is guaranteed even in areas with little or no internet coverage thanks to alternative solutions: tourist operators can start the charge using a dedicated card, or the card can be provided at the charging points themselves.
- 5 charging stations installed by the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park along the Caoria-Paneveggio cycle and foot path. You’ll find them in the Vanoi Valley at Osteria alla Siega in Ponte Stel and at Rifugio Refavaie; in San Martino di Castrozza at Malghetta Tognola and Malga Ces; and in Val Venegia at Malga Venegia. They’re free to use – just ask staff for the keys to fill up with clean energy.
- 1 charging station also installed in San Martino di Castrozza by the Famiglia Cooperativa di Mezzano as part of the Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione sustainable mobility project. This station is located opposite the shop in San Martino di Castrozza and can be used free of charge by following the simple on-screen instructions.
Many hotels and restaurants also offer charging points, giving you the chance to relax and enjoy the Dolomite scenery while your bike tops up on clean kilowatts.
