Who are we? We introduce ourselves... We are Carla and Gianfranco, we live in Primiero, a beautiful Dolomite valley located in eastern Trentino, on the border with Veneto.
For several years we have had a flower shop in the pedestrian centre of Fiera, but for some years now we have been getting closer to nature and local produce.
We have a small family farm at 1200 m, it is our happy island, where we find energy and recharge. Here, over time, we have created an experimental garden where we can grow different plants and understand how they develop, how they adapt to the territory and temperatures, how they grow and how much they can produce.
In 2016 I attended a course that allowed me to receive the qualification for the recognition and collection of wild herbs, something more that gave us the start of this new adventure. After experimenting and trying the cultivation of different types of plants, we decided to get involved by opening our small farm, Piccolo Fiore.
We grow aromatic and medicinal plants, we take care of their collection and drying, personally taking care of the creation process from which our infusions, flavored salts and herbal mixes are born, and accessories for the well-being of the person, including recently even a small cosmetic line.
The Piccolo Fiore Farm was born from a passion for aromatic herbs and medicinal plants and a deep love for the nature that surrounds us.
All our crops are grown in Trentino, in the beautiful Primiero valley, in an unspoilt place at an altitude of 1200 metres, where the Dolomites are our backdrop.
We take care of its cultivation, harvesting and drying, personally dealing with the transformation process from which our natural products are born, such as infusions, flavored salts, herbal mixes without salt, and accessories for the well-being of the person.
We are of the opinion that little is better, we focus on the quality of the product, not on quantity. We talk and pamper all our plants so that they give us a rich and excellent quality harvest.
Our products like to give their name in the local dialect, to our line of herbal salts we have given the name of the legends of the Valley. This is to make our traditions known, telling the legends and the "dialect" of Primiero that represent us.
