Lying on the Costa d 'Agaréi, in the wild heart of the eastern slope of the Pale di San Martino, the Rifugio Scarpa dominates a grandiose panorama: from the Croda Granda to Mount Agnèr, up to the Civetta, the Schiara and the Dolomiti Feltrine. The refuge is located in a very quiet environment, on a slope of the Pale di San Martino still uncontaminated and little anthropized. Reachable with a pleasant walk about 30 minutes by car from Fiera di Primiero, it stands on a small promontory with an eagle's nest, far from the busiest routes. Here the mountain is silence, light, breath.
At sunset the sky lights up with stars, and at dawn the peaks turn golden: unique moments to be experienced from the panoramic terrace or along the paths that wind through woods and dizzying walls. In every season, the quiet and simplicity of this place gives real time, what we often forget.
The Rifugio Scarpa is a starting point for climbing, paragliding, ferrata and hiking, but also a refuge for the soul after a walk, a ride or simply for a slice of cake and the warmth of the larin.
Here you find genuine hospitality, authentic flavours and that rare feeling of being at home.
