The Rifugio Scarpa, at the foot of the majestic Monte Agner, is the ideal starting (or finishing) point to discover one of the most authentic and wild corners of the Dolomites.
Far from the busiest trails, the refuge is a simple and warm place, perfect for those looking for a genuine experience: a base for climbing, paragliding and the Ferrata Stella Alpina, but also an ideal landing after a walk, a bike ride or a run between the trails. But the Rifugio Scarpa is also a place of taste.
Our cuisine is born from respect for the territory and a passion for homemade things. We use carefully selected local and seasonal products to bring the authentic flavours of the Dolomite tradition to the table.
Among our most popular dishes are the great mountain classics: homemade canederli, goulash with polenta, mushroom noodles, pastin and grilled cheese. These are accompanied by seasonal proposals, such as game-based dishes, which tell even more deeply about the link with the territory. Great attention is also paid to vegetarian and vegan proposals, always present on our menu and designed to offer taste and variety without compromise. The desserts are all homemade: freshly baked cakes, genuine desserts and aromas that welcome guests right from the door.
The restaurant welcomes guests in different environments depending on the season: in summer, a panoramic terrace where you can eat surrounded by the landscape; in winter, two cozy panoramic rooms heated by the warmth of the stube.
We are open for lunch at the following times:
