Immersed among the spectacular pastures of Passo Rolle, in the presence of the Pale di San Martino, you can immerse yourself in the daily life of one of the Trentino mountain huts that has made history. Malga Juribello has been for some time a school for cheese makers, coming from all over the Alpine region, and even today it is a place of study for researchers and students in the agricultural and dairy fields.
Here, together with Leonardo and Matteo, you can spend an afternoon filled with many discoveries. From the milking in the barn, to the visit to the educational farm featuring pigs, rabbits, horses, and donkeys. Leonardo, a young yet experienced cook of the hut, will guide you delightfully through a narrated aperitif based on Trentino cured meats and Primiero cheeses, to discover the characteristics that make each cheese unique, thanks to a guided sensory journey. Of course, there is no aperitif without a toast, and in the hut, the Trentino mountain bubbles, Trentodoc or a fresh apple juice, must not be missing.
For those who want to continue the evening, there is also the option to stay at the hut for dinner and witness the show in nature of the Enrosadira, with the Cimon della Pala turning pink, before setting off on your way back home.
