Don't miss the appointment with the eighth edition of the CraspaMagna Dolomitica, a day with snowshoes, between nature and gastronomy, discovering the Valle del Vanoi, one of the most fascinating and unspoiled places in Trentino.
The CraspaMagna is a nature excursion with tasting stages that unfolds along an 8 km circular route in the stunning setting of the Valle del Lozen. Each stop, which coincides with a typical local venue, offers dishes made according to tradition and with zero-kilometer products accompanied by strictly Trentino Wines and Craft Beers, all typical regional flavors.
Combining the landscape aspect with the culinary one, the CraspaMagna proves to be a "delicious" opportunity to explore Vanoi and its splendid landscape made of pastures and enchanted woods: the “walk of taste” indeed crosses the meadows and woods of Santa Romina, the pastures of Malga Lozen with a small diversion to the refuge, and then concludes in Zortea where a delightful snack from the Boscaiolo awaits participants to end the day on a high note discovering Ancient Knowledge and Flavors.
Program
- 9:00 AM: meeting at the Casa della Cultura in Zortea, registrations and distribution of snowshoes.
- 9:30 AM: departure from the Albergo Serenella in Zortea for the 8th CRASPAMAGNA DOLOMITICA, a snowshoe walk through nature, tradition, and flavor. Circular route of about 8 km in the beautiful Valle del Lozen, through the meadows of Santa Romina and the pastures of Malga Lozen with departure and arrival in Zortea. Breakfast with barley coffee and milk with bread, butter, jam, and honey.
- Itinerary:
Stop 1: Agritur Maso Santa Romina, tasting and presentation of cheeses from the Primiero Dairy with herbal tea and sweets from the farm.
Stop 2: Masi del Lozen, aperitif with white wine, water, and elderflower syrup, tasting of cured meats and various game meats and rustic bread. Visit to Maso Cavagnoli curated by the Ecomuseum of Vanoi, traveling show.
Stop 3: Maso Fiorello, appetizers of small pizzas and snacks with an aperitif of white wine and juices.
Stop 4: Le Tezze, at Maso Bollini, tasting of various types of canederli with Trentino wines and juices.
Stop 5: Malga Lozen, tasting of barley soup with Trentino wines and water. Musical entertainment and circus performance.
Stop 6: Rifugio Lozen, demonstration of wood processing. Tasting of stew with polenta from the refuge accompanied by wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Circus performance.
Stop 7: Pose de la Val, tasting of infusions based on medicinal herbs from the Azienda Agricola Erborì natural medicinal plants of Trentino. The knowledge: the fibers and the herbs.
Stop 8: arrival at the Albergo Serenella, final greeting with music from Arnaldo, strauben, tea, mulled wine, and tastings of Trentino grappas.
Cost: €26.00 per person with online reservation | €30.00 per person with onsite registration on the day of the event | Free for children up to 8 years old. The fee includes the food tastings provided during the stops along the route and a souvenir gadget from the event. Snowshoe rental: €5.00.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the organization has decided to donate part of the participation fees to LILT PRIMIERO E VANOI (Italian League Against Cancer).
