The San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle Ski Area is currently undergoing a major transformation. Over the last few years, significant investments have resulted in new ski lifts, an increasingly efficient snowmaking system and faster connections between the different ski areas: from the Colbricon Express gondola to the Cigolera chairlift, as well as the Valcigolera gondola, the ski area continues to upgrade to offer a smoother and more enjoyable experience on the slopes.
For the 2026/2027 winter season, the latest news concerns the Scandola–Conca di Alpe Tognola area, where two chairlifts will be replaced by a modern six-seater lift, along with the improvement of the slopes, expansion of snowmaking capabilities, and redevelopment of the Snowpark. And while Tognola gears up for a makeover, the most ambitious project is also taking shape: the connection between San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle: a strategic initiative that will redesign the visitor experience to the ski area and strengthen the bond between the two different resorts with new cable cars, slopes and road improvements.
