What's new in Alpe Tognola starting from the 2026-2027 Winter Season

Waiting for the lift connection between San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle

SAN MARTINO DI CASTROZZA-PASSO ROLLE: INVESTMENTS, VISION AND FUTURE

In recent years, several modernization projects have been carried out in the ski area, ranging from the upgrades of the snowmaking system to the inauguration of new lifts. The new Colbricon Express and Cigolera lifts have reduced ride times to reach some of the most popular slopes of the ski area, both for ski lessons and training. Moreover, thanks to the replacement of the Cigolera, Cima Tognola and Valcigolera lifts, the lift connection between Tognola and Ces have been improved, reducing ride time from 18 to 6 minutes.

The most ambitious modernization project is the lift connection between San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle. Works began in autumn 2025 and, according to the schedule, they will be completed by December 2027. A strategic project, which will increase the appeal and the competitiveness of the whole area.

COMING SOON IN ALPE TOGNOLA

The two chairlifts “Conca” and “Scandola” will be replaced by a single detachable 6-seater chairlift. This new, modern and fast lift represents a significant reduction in environmental impact: one lift instead of two, from 4 to 2 lift stations and from 33 to 10 pylons.

Technical data:

Capacity: 2.650 people per hour; length: 1.324m; vertical rise: 308m; speed: 5m/s; ride time: 4, 27 min.

In short: more comfort, shorter wait times and an even better ski experience.

That’s not all! According to the renovation project, the snowmaking system of the Scandola and Conca slopes will be upgraded. The two slopes will be connected by a new slope over 700m long and a new short slope called “Larici” will take skiers from the end of the Cima Tognola slope to the Scandola slope.

Moreover, the San Martino Snowpark will host the new Dolomia Funslope with its own snowmaking system and it will turn into a new, modern, more exciting snowpark for riders of all level.

In addition, the Scandola ski bar will be replaced by a brand-new one, with a large sunny terrace. It will no longer be just a bar, but part of the ski experience.
