Just above the Rolle pass and, above all, in an ideal position to admire the imposing Pale di San Martino and the Enrosadira phenomenon, which makes the Dolomites turn reddish at dawn and dusk. This would be enough to recommend a visit to the Matterhorn. But there is more: the refuge maintains the integrity of the high mountain mansions, thanks also to the courtesy of its managers. All this is reflected in the dishes on the menu: from the tasty cheeses obtained from the milk of the Highlander cows raised outdoors on the family farm, to the delicious first courses. The canederli of speck, the gnocchi of bread with mushrooms, the tortelloni with porcini mushrooms, the delicious soups are inevitable.
