A still intact alpine landscape, modified only in part by human activities related to timber harvesting and alpine pastures, ideal for regenerating away from it all.
The Lagorai mountain range is about 70 kilometres long and from Passo Rolle it crosses Vanoi and Valsugana arriving at Monte Calisio near Trento. Very sparsely inhabited, the Lagorai is the ideal place to regenerate away from it all and enjoy a mountain-bike or horseback ride. The name derives from the term "lakes", and in fact there are many that meet along this extraordinary chain, formed after the last retreat of the ice, ten thousand years ago. These places were the scene of fighting during the Great War, and many personal belongings of the soldiers were found over time by the "Recoverers" in search of memorabilia. A still intact alpine landscape, modified only minimally by activities related to timber harvesting and alpine pastures.
