Comfortable and classic ski mountaineering route which after an initial ascent allows a comfortable and solitary descent along the Valsorda until reaching the village of Caoria.
The proposed route (which may require pickup at the end of the excursion) starts at the Tognola ski lift parking lot. After an initial section adjacent to the ski slopes, it partly retraces the forest road to Alpe Tognola, then follows an entirely wooded track parallel to the Uno ski slope. Upon reaching Alpe Tognola, the route follows the ridges overlooking the ski area to reach Cima Tognola. Before reaching the summit, at the end of the namesake lift, the descent towards Valsorda begins, with an initial section served by groomed slopes, then entering Val Tognola, quickly passing Busa della Scandola Bassa and the Laresei di Tognola, then joining the Valsorda forest road (in the Vanoi valley).
