Ideas for tomorrow's aperitif?
Of course, more than one… but you know I like original things, so don't think about the classic aperitif sitting at the bar in the center.
Listen a bit… let's go to Mezzano, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, where the famous brewery Bionoc’ is located, for an exclusive guided tour with master brewer Fabio.
Bionoc’… I’ve heard of it…
Probably, they have won a lot of awards even internationally with their beers, thanks to selected hops, partly grown in the valley, Primiero water, and above all their unstoppable creativity! Even the names of the beers are really fantastic: Staìon, Lipa, Zio Lupo…
But we can also drink them, we’re not just looking, right?!
Of course, yes, Fabio will let us taste two of their flagship beers, a little fuel to continue on to the alleys of Mezzano, before taking the legendary via Nova from Imèr and reaching the new Tibetan bridge for a view of the valley: you will be left speechless.
Okay, but what about our aperitif?
Trust me: during the walk Elisa, our lovely and bubbly guide, will take us to a beautiful green corner to enjoy our Cheesenic: a rich box of tapas in pure Trentino style, made for us by the Ristorante la Doga, accompanied by the new hay beer produced by Bionoc’.
So by 8.00 p.m. we’ll be back, ready for dinner at the hotel.
Did I convince you?
More than convinced, I’m already holding a mug in my hand… book right away while I study the program well!
PROGRAM:
- 4.00 p.m. – Meeting at the Bionoc Brewery in Mezzano. You can get there by car with easy parking, or on foot or by bicycle, given the proximity to the Primiero cycle path. Waiting for us will be Fabio, the master brewer, who will guide us into his kingdom, in an interesting guided tour with a final tasting of two Bionoc’ craft beers.
- 5.00 p.m. – We’re off for our walk-aperitif with Elisa, a local guide. From the charming alleys of Mezzano, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, we will continue to Imèr where, with a little uphill, we will take the via Nova, the historic route that connects Pieve with the Gobbera Pass. A sunny path that offers beautiful views of the valley until we reach the new Tibetan bridge: a maximum height of 32 meters from which to admire the peaks of the Vette Feltrine and Pale di San Martino.
- 6.30 p.m. – On the way back, a well-deserved aperitif stop awaits us, but not the usual drink! The new hay beer by Bionoc’ will be the star of a Cheesenic in the green, along with a selection of tapas in pure Trentino style made for the occasion by the Ristorante La Doga.
- 8.00 p.m. – Return to Mezzano at the starting point, ready to continue the evening with an excellent Trentino dinner to enjoy wherever you like!
