On the occasion of the World Bee Day, the Vanoi District Association APS proposes a evening of discussion and idea exchange to enhance the pastures of the Malghe del Vanoi.
Thanks to the participation of some representatives from APIVAL (Val Sugana Lagorai Beekeepers Association), the pilot project realized in the Vezzena Plateau will be presented, where the presence of excellent pollinator insects such as bees in the malghe plays a crucial role in maintaining such ecosystems.
Beekeeping becomes an ally of animal husbandry, where the forage naturally pollinated by bees allows the production of cheeses richer in flavors and nutrients, strongly linked to the territory. Two worlds, that of bees and that of the malghe, meet in the name of quality and sustainability.
The initiative is part of the "Bees Sentinels of the Vanoi Valley" project, started in 2025 with the installation of "sentinel" beehives in the various districts and malghe of Vanoi, which has seen the collaboration of several partners who will participate during the evening.
At the end of the meeting, a tasting of some cheeses from the Primiero Social Dairy paired with the fine honeys of Vanoi.
Participation is free and open to all interested people.
