A Mozart like never heard before, emphasizing originality.
Villa Welsperg, built in 1853, once the residence of the Counts who gave it its name, is a splendid example of “noble” mountain architecture. Composed of three buildings—the villa itself, a small church, and a barn—surrounded by a garden and on the edge of a large pasture that eventually becomes a bog, it is now home to the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park.
The beauty of the place alone would justify the trip. But in this case, the occasion is particularly enticing: the musical offering features a well-known name in Italian song (and beyond), Elio, leader of the unforgettable Storie Tese, serving in the dual role of narrator and baritone, a famous soprano, Scilla Cristiano, and the Philharmonic Oboe Quartet, an offshoot of the Berliner Philharmoniker, one of the most prestigious symphonic orchestras in the world.
The concert scheduled in the shadow of the Pale is an original, brilliant reinterpretation of "The Magic Flute" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, based on the version by Vivian Lamarque, with inserts from the original libretto. The show, which has received great acclaim everywhere, also allows the audience to listen to some famous arias, like that of the funny bird-catcher Papageno, constantly accompanied by music, performed in the transcription by F.J. Rosinack, for oboe, violin, viola, and cello.

Since 2023, I Suoni delle Dolomiti aims to increase accessibility for audiences with disabilities.
Thanks to a collaboration with Remoove, this concert is accessible for people with motor and sensory disabilities, guaranteeing a dedicated information and booking service and support on-site to reach the concert—also thanks to inclusive vehicles and bikes—and the possibility for deaf individuals to use Subpac, innovative audio-tactile devices that can be worn like backpacks and vibrate to the rhythm of the music, allowing sound perception.

How to get there
- from Tonadico on foot along the Tonadico-Cimerlo path, 1.20 hours of walking, elevation gain of 300 meters, difficulty T
- from Primiero by car following the signs for Val Canali (parking available until full)
- by free bus from the designated parking areas along the access road from Primiero (bus schedules and stops available shortly).
!!! ATTENTION ROAD DETOUR AT ARSIE’ (BL)!!!
For those arriving from Bassano or Trento on the SS47 of Valsugana heading towards Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza it is announced that until November 28, the Brenta and S.Vito tunnels will be closed 24 hours a day to traffic. Vehicle traffic (only vehicles under 3.5 tons) will be redirected towards Primolano, Fastro, and Arsié (passing through the Primolano stairs SR50bis) to then return to SS 50 Bis/Var at km 5.200 (approximately 20 minutes of detour). In particular, those coming from Trento are advised to take the Martincelli/Primolano exit.
Traffic in the opposite direction (from Primiero towards Trento or Bassano) occurs regularly.

!!! ATTENTION TO NAVIGATOR INSTRUCTIONS !!!
If using navigation systems (Google Maps, Waze, Sygic, iPhone Maps) it is also recommended to verify the overall suggested itinerary in advance as there are periodically occurring technical bugs that incorrectly indicate the closure of the Schenér road at the Rosna Valley, after which directions are provided for arriving in the Primiero and Vanoi valleys via the Passo Brocon or Passo Cereda. It is emphasized that the Schenér road is regularly open in both directions.
