Mischa Maisky, one of the greatest living cellists, will be in San Martino di Castrozza for the Sounds of the Dolomites Wednesday 20 July. The centrepiece of this concert are the third and fifth Johann Sebastian Bach''s Cello Suites.

Born in Riga, Latvia, and winner of the highly prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in 1966, Misha Maisky has had a brilliant concert career which has taken him all round the world. Celebrated far and wide for his stylistic versatility and technical virtuosity, he has also played with other highly renowned musicians such as Gidon Kremer, Matha Argerich and Yuri Bashmet.
