The altitude and climate of Primiero and Vanoi are not suited to typical Trentino crops, apples and vines, but this area is ideal for soft fruit: raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and currants.
In recent years, some farms have started growing these tasty products, which are also made into jams and juices.
Local soft fruit producers include Agritur Dalaip dei Pape and Agritur Maso Santa Romina.
