A new sensory trail, strongly supported and entirely created by the municipal administration of Imèr, is aimed at residents and tourists seeking accessible experiences and emotions, a new and fun way to experience direct contact with nature.
The landscape architecture project "Immergiti," developed by landscape architect Eva Maria Schgaguler, includes seven stations and artistic/functional installations inspired by a land art concept, drawing on other more famous examples such as Arte Sella and the Sentiero delle Muse Fedaie in Val Canali.
This trail, at the foot of Mount Vederna, promises to be a captivating attraction for lovers of the woods and everything that surrounds them, offering the opportunity to feel, breathe, touch, taste, and see. The sensory trail, inaugurated in 2023, is located in Imèr in the "Peze" area, a short walk from the sports area, towards the Sass Maor Village, and extends entirely along the left bank of the Cismon stream. The seven installations (the shells, the frame, the sound cone, the suspended carpet, the sound cloud, the material path, and the mill wheel) can be reached via a short circular route (45 minutes in total) completely immersed in the nature that laps the slopes of Mount Vederna.
A true immersion in a place where time passes slowly, where you can absorb the scent of the earth, listen to the whisper of the waves, observe the wonder of the landscape, feel the vibrations of the air, and experience with all your senses the harmony of an authentic and inclusive environment. All the works were constructed using primarily natural and local materials, ensuring a low environmental impact.
