The First World War left a deep mark on this territory. Evidence of this past can still be found in the stoli (military tunnels) located in strategic points such as Morosna on the Alpe Vederna, Cavallazza, Tognola, Totoga, Castellazzo and along the Lagorai chain. On Cavallazza, the Alpini dug trenches to protect themselves from enemy fire. Today, these places can be explored through trails and guided tours that recount life on the front line, immersed in breathtaking landscapes and powerful historical testimonies.
