Located at 765 meters above sea level, Siror is the northernmost village of the Primiero Valley and has about 1,200 inhabitants.
Large polygonal stone fountains and folk frescoes on the façades of the houses characterize the historic center, which every year hosts the renowned and enchanting Christmas Market.
Among the historic buildings are the Parish Church of Saint Andrew, built in the 14th century and rebuilt in 1720, and the old Town Hall decorated with 16th-century frescoes.
A visit to the historic center of Siror is also an opportunity to discover the imaginary and fantastic world of the Dolomites. In the narrow streets of the village, you’ll find the Path of Legends (in the local dialect “El trói dele S-Cione”), a fascinating permanent exhibition featuring numerous wooden bas-reliefs inspired by the legends of the Primiero Valley.
