Ritual:
The ritual involves pouring water mixed with essential oils on hot stones placed above the sauna's brazier. The water in contact with the stones is vaporized, carrying with it particles of essential oil and spreads within the sauna environment. The aufgussmeister, through the rhythmic movements of a towel – accompanied by a musical background – directs the aromatized hot steam in the direction of the guests, causing an intense and pleasant multisensory experience.
