In front of the Pale di San Martino, in one of the most scenic places in the Alps, the 60 km of the San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle ski area wind up, the southern tip of the "Dolomiti Superski" circuit.
A beautiful family-friendly corner of Trentino, in the heart of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Park, with panoramic slopes that are perfectly beaten and never too crowded, ideal for both those who want to try downhill skiing for the first time and those who are already experienced. The entire skiarea is immersed in an intact and unspoilt environment, nestled between the magnificent Pale di San Martino and the porphyry of the Lagorai chain. The slopes are served by 21 ski lifts that take you from the 1,400 metres of the town centre to the 2,400 metres of Punta Tognola. The upgrading of the planned snow system and two new systems, the Colbricon Express cable car in the Ces area and the Cigolera exaposto chairlift on the Alpe Tognola, facilitate and speed up transfers and guarantee pleasant days in the snow, in complete relaxation. The ski area also includes a night skiing track and 30 kilometres of Nordic ski slopes.
A great novelty awaits you in the San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle ski area for winter 2022/2023: the brand new "Cima Tognola" four-seater chairlift will be inaugurated!
The new system will start from the arrival of the exaposto chairlift "Cigolera" and will have an hourly capacity of 1500 people.
In just 3 minutes, the most experienced skiers will be able to reach the highest and most panoramic point of the entire Carosello delle Malghe (2345m) and decide whether to continue on the fun slopes of the Ces ski area, or try their hand at the snows of "Fantasia 2000", the 5km long descent through 900 metres of altitude, which through adrenaline-filled straights, challenging curves and enchanting woods, takes you back to the base of the Tognola ski lifts.
