An exhibition that investigates the relationship between Alcide De Gasperi and his homeland
The exhibition is part of a series of scientific and educational projects launched in 2024 with the exhibition Alcide De Gasperi. Home Album, promoted by the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino and Fondazione Trentina Alcide De Gasperi, on the initiative of the Presidency of the Provincial Council of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
After the first edition, dedicated to the family dimension of the statesman, the exhibition broadens the view on the deep link between Alcide De Gasperi and Trentino, his homeland. Despite having known moments of solitude throughout his life, De Gasperi was never an isolated or distant man. On the contrary, he was a politician fully immersed in his time, participating in the communities in which he lived and worked, starting in his thirties.
The photographs on display recount episodes of his biography intertwined with the history of the territory: images that return the portrait of a politician constantly surrounded by people, engaged in dialogue, listening and relationship.
Curated by: Marco Odorizzi (Fondazione Trentina Alcide De Gasperi) and Elena Tonezzer (Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino).
Visitable in the openings of Palazzo Scopoli in February, from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm
