If you have never faced a ferrata, this is the right opportunity to do so. The company of expert mountain guides can challenge you with this not too difficult, but certainly exciting, ferrata.

The Ferrata Didattica Val di Scala in the Valle del Vanoi, near the village of Caoria, is not only one of the very few examples of ferrata on low-altitude granite but is also unique in its kind for its extreme accessibility, being easily accessible by car. It starts at an altitude of 700 metres and reaches a total altitude difference of 200 metres, with a first striking section that runs along a vertical waterfall and involves an adventurous passage on a 12-metre-long Tibetan bridge. It is ideal for beginners and especially for families who want older children to experience a first approach to mountaineering, before embarking on more difficult-to-reach Dolomite tracks. The best solution is to be accompanied by the guides of the Eagles di San Martino e Primiero mountaineering school, who will be able to teach you the correct approach for this type of route.
