The wellness centre, located on the basement floor of the Hotel and open every day from 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm, is inspired by the ancient Roman baths. Born as sanitary facilities, the spas soon became places of well-being and relaxation, where the ancient Romans enjoyed conversing, reading and admiring works of art. There was a habit of throwing perfumes and spicy wines in the water, and then moving, after washing, in rooms used for massages which, as nowadays, were carried out using perfumed oils and special ointments such as almond oil, imported from Egypt and other countries with an exotic tone.
