Located in the heart of the Carosello delle Malghe, on the Ski Area San Martino di Castrozza – Passo Rolle at an altitude of 1,884 metres, the mountain hut stands at the foot of the homonymous Cima Valcigolera and the northern peaks of the Catena del Lagorai, opposite the Pale di San Martino. Completely renovated in 2008, the hotel offers excellent specialties such as polenta, luganega and tosèla, sautéed potatoes with eggs and speck or the delicious formài frit alla primaierotta, canederli in broth or melted butter, Tyrolean spätzle and much more. For those looking for a quick lunch during the winter there are excellent sandwiches prepared on the outdoor grill. Excellent choice of appetizers and aperitifs to accompany a beer or a glass of wine and the wide choice of desserts made in Malga.
