There are many paths leading from the Primero villages to this body of water of natural origin, in the Paneveggio Natural Park.
This natural lake is located in the Paneveggio Natural Park, surrounded by woods and meadows as far as the eye can see. If you want to spend a day in the middle of nature, perhaps with the whole family, from here, with a quiet walk, you can reach a panoramic point that allows you to admire the mountain group of the Pale di San Martino in all its majesty. Lake Calaita is located in the upper Vanoi valley, 15 km from Fiera di Primiero. To reach it by car, you can take the road to Gobbera Pass, which starts just outside the long tunnel that connects Primiero to Valle del Vanoi. In the immediate vicinity is also a hotel-restaurant-bar with spacious parking facilities. Among the fir forests, on the banks of the lake, the Miralago hut.
