Located just a short distance from Lake Forte Buso, along state road NO. 50 that goes from Predazzo to Rolle Pass, the new Paneveggio Centre tells the story of the great red fir forest of the same name, now known to all as the Foresta dei Violini for the quality of its resonant fir trees used by the luthiers of the past. Information on the animals inhabiting the woods is provided too, some of the most popular are grouse and deer. Not far away, a large fence allows you to closely observe a group of these large ungulates. A nature trail with guided and illustrated observation points starts from the visitor centre.
During the winter season, it can only be visited during the guided tours organised by the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park.
