Castel Pietra rises above the town of Tonadico, erected on top of a huge erratic boulder (from which its name originates) on the Torrente Canali, a privileged position from which to control the road that connects Primiero with Agordino.
To access the ruin, you must be accompanied by an Alpine Guide or a Medium Mountain Guide (AMM) who must request authorization in advance at the ApT office of Fiera di Primiero providing all the details of the accompanied group (maximum 10 people at a time).
Please note: due to work on the structure, the castle ruins will not be accessible from the end of April to the end of July 2026.
