The Guana of Primiero

Walk from the parking lot in Fiera di Primiero to the Guana del Martalar directly on foot in a loop trailEasy walk that from Fiera di Primiero allows you to reach the Guana di Martalar, an imposing new work made from the wood of the storm Vaia, passing by the bike/pedestrian path for the first stretch, and then going up in the direction of the locality Navoi, where a few meters from the Biolago, in a very panoramic position, is the Guana. The very scenic area is also home to the Navoi Wellness Garden. The itinerary then foresees the return on foot with a very suggestive ring-route along the Navoi locality until reaching the village of Transacqua, to pei return towards Fiera di PrimieroCreated by artist Marco Martalar, the Guàna is composed of more than 2,000 pieces and roots of wood recovered from forests devastated by the 2018 storm Vaia, an event that indelibly marked the Alps and much of northern Italy, including the Primiero area.
