A short hike that starts in the center of San Martino di Castrozza and takes you to Malga Ces via forest roads and trails through the woods
The route starts in the center of San Martino di Castrozza; head toward Plank Lake, then continue along the forest road to Scacciapensieri. From there, follow the signs pointing toward Malga Ces. For the first section, you’ll walk along a forest road through the woods, then continue on an easy trail that climbs up the left side of the valley (looking from the bottom up) and takes about another 30 minutes to reach Malga Ces.
To return, simply retrace the same route you took on the way up
