Primiero Slow Tour - Stage 2 (mid-altitude variant)

Variant of the second stage of the Primiero Slow Tour that bypasses Monte Padella without reaching its summitThe route starts from Passo Cereda; You climb along path 729 until you meet path 723 which leads to Malga Fossetta. From here you continue always on 723 reaching and passing the meadows of Stiozze; from here you continue always following the 723 signs until the locality of Ritasa, where you take the route that connects to path 743 until the locality of Scofa. From here, the marked path arrives near the locality of Niosa and then connects to the forest road that reaches the paved road going up to Caltena. Once on this road, after about 600 m on the left there are signs to reach Rifugio Caltena in another 5 minutes' walkAlternative route to connect Passo Cereda to Rifugio Caltena through itineraries at lower altitudes compared to the path that goes to the top of Monte Padella
