Fourth stage of the Primiero Slow Tour (variant), from Rifugio Caltena up to the summit of Monte Padella (1,850 m), then descending to Malga Fossetta and finally to Rifugio Cereda.
The stage begins at Rifugio Caltena. From here, climb towards the summit of Monte Padella along the trail that starts just behind the refuge (trail marker 744). Monte Padella is the highest point of the entire tour, and from its summit you can enjoy a शानदार 360-degree panorama. The trail is classified as suitable for expert hikers (EE), with demanding gradients both on the ascent and on the descent along the opposite side.
From the cross on Monte Padella, continue descending (still trail 744) until reaching the forest road (trail marker 723) leading to Malga Fossetta. From Malga Fossetta, continue downhill along trail 723 until reaching Rifugio Cereda, the destination of this fourth stage and the final refuge of the counterclockwise Primiero Slow Tour.
