Primiero Slow Tour Counterclockwise - STAGE 4 (Monte Padella variant)

Fourth stage of the Primiero Slow Tour in the variant that from the Caltena Refuge climbs to the summit of Mount Padella (1850 m) and then descends to Malga Fossetta and then to the Cereda RefugeThe stage starts at the Caltena Refuge; from here you climb towards the summit of Mount Padella on the path that starts just behind the refuge (trail marker 744). Mount Padella is the highest point of the entire tour, from the summit you can enjoy a wonderful 360-degree panorama; the trail is classified as a path for expert hikers (EE), with challenging slopes both uphill and then descending on the other side. From the Cross of Mount Padella, continue downhill (still 744) until you intersect the forest road (trail marker 723) that leads to Malga Fossetta. From Malga Fossetta, continue downhill along trail 723 until you reach the Cereda Refuge, the destination of this fourth stage and the last refuge of the Primiero Slow Tour counterclockwise.The effort to reach the Cross of Mount Padella is rewarded by the splendid panorama enjoyed once at the summit
