Third leg of the Palaronda Trek North, which runs from the Rosetta Hut to the Velo della Madonna Hut via trails 702 and 713
After admiring the sunrise over the Altopiano delle Pale plateau, from the Rifugio Rosetta we set off again following trail 702 that descends in the direction of San Martino di Castrozza along the Val di Roda. The descent, very gentle thanks to several hairpin bends made on the rock, evolves into a path through the woods that descends into the valley offering spectacular views of the central massif of the Pale di San Martino and the Campaniles of the Val di Roda. Just before reaching the locality CIvertaghe, take path 713 where in about three hours of walking hours you reach the Velo della Madonna Refuge.
