Palaronda Trek North - Stage 2 (Volpi al Mulaz Refuge - Rosetta Refuge)

Second leg of the Palaronda Trek Nord, which runs from the Volpi al Mulaz Refuge to the Rosetta Refuge via Passo Rolle and arriving on the Pale Plateau from the Sentiero dei FinanzieriFrom Rifugio Mulaz, head towards Passo Mulaz, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the northern range of the Pale di San Martino. Descend along the Quinto Scalet trail (710) towards Val Venegia, then climb up to Baita Segantini. From there, descend the dirt road to Capanna Cervino and take the grassy path leading directly to the Sentiero dei Finanzieri (Finanzieri Trail), just above Malga Fosse di Sopra. Follow the Sentiero dei Finanzieri (712) towards Crode Rosse and then Palamonda, intersecting trail 701 to ascend to the Pale di San Martino Plateau and reach Rifugio Rosetta (SAT). Note: If desired, you can reach Rifugio Colverde from trail 712 and ascend to the Pale di San Martino Plateau from there using the Rosetta cable car.A stage that includes a first part all downhill from Rifugio Mulaz to Malga Fosse; from here we gradually ascend in altitude admiring the splendid scenery of the northern slope of the Pale di San Martino until we reach Rifugio Rosetta, in the heart of the Pale Plateau.
