Palaronda Trek North - Stage 1 (Passo Rolle - Rifugio Volpi al Mulaz)

First leg of the Palaronda Trek Nord starting from Passo Rolle at Rifugio Volpi al MulazThe Palaronda Trek Nord starts from Passo Rolle, ascending along the dirt road from the pass to Baita Segantini. Then, it descends into Val Venegia towards Malga Venegiota and continues along trail 749 to reach the scenic Forcella Venegia. From here, follow trail 751 (Alta Via Route No. 2) around the Mount Mulaz massif until you reach the destination of the first stage, Rifugio Mulaz.First stage from Passo Rolle to Rifugio Mulaz through some of the most beautiful scenery of the Pale di San Martino, such as the views from Baita Segantini and Val Venegia. The route up to Forcella Venegiota does not weigh any particular difficulty; the second part of the hike, however, is more technical, especially the stretch up the rocky ridge that leads to Sasso Arduini and then to Rifugio Mulaz.
