Malga Pradidali's ruins loop

Near the car park, go up the dirt road to Malga Canali, which is open and serves food from spring to autumn. The start of the trail is just below the malga (alpine hut), descending through lush meadows to cross a newly constructed forest road. Take this easy forest road and follow it through the wooded area until you reach the clearing where the ruins of Malga Pradidali are located, the highest point of the entire hike.

Now continue for another few hundred metres until you come to trail 709, which leads to the Rifugio Pradidali. Turn left onto the trail that leads back to the starting point of the hike.

You can walk the loop in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions.

The clockwise direction is recommended if you want to stop for lunch at Malga Canali, where you will arrive on the final part of the hike.

The ruins of Malga Pradidali bear witness to the area’s farming tradition. This was, in fact, one of the many places that used as a summer pasture area for cattle from Valle di Primiero.
