This hike takes place in one of the lesser-known parts of the Pale di San Martino, in the Croda Granda subgroup, northeast of Rifugio Treviso.
Traditionally, this loop is proposed in the opposite direction to be able to climb the Ferrata Fiamme Gialle uphill. However, the passage through Vani Alti is a climb that is considered technical and exposed from a hiking perspective (if you have a rope and do not feel confident, there are some rings available for protection), so we recommend facing it ascending and suggest doing this route counterclockwise.
