Malga Canali - Rifugio Treviso - Vani Alti - Bivacco Reali - Ferrata Fiamme Gialle

From Rifugio Treviso, once leaving the main trail No. 707 onto a track indicating direction Vani Alti, the initial part of the ascent is relatively simple although quite gravelly. From the base of the wall begins an easy climb lasting about half an hour along what was an old Via Ferrata that was later removed because it was too dangerous (not because of difficulty, but it's a fact that the presence of a via ferrata often encourages inexperienced hikers to attempt it).

After the ascent, after a break to enjoy the view featuring in the foreground Cima St. Anna (2,374 m a.s.l.), Croda Granda (2,839 m a.s.l.), and Sass d’Ortiga (2,391 m a.s.l.), the trail continues on the eastern side of the Vani Alti summits (2,633 m a.s.l.), and after crossing a saddle, descends toward Bivacco Renato Reali.

From Bivacco Renato Reali, returning toward Malga Canali, you must then descend the Ferrata Fiamme Gialle, which is not particularly difficult but rather vertical, and is in excellent condition.
