Beautiful gravel route in the Vanoi Valley that goes from Canal San Bovo through Caoria and the Fossernica di Dentro and Fossernica di Fuori mountain huts.
Perfect route for gravel bikes, where sections on asphalt alternate with fun forest roads in what is effectively recognized as the greenest valley in Trentino. The loop starts from Canal San Bovo from where you pedal towards Caoria. From the town of Caoria you continue uphill on asphalt road until reaching the Refavaie refuge. A little further on begins the dirt road segment that climbs up to the Fossernica di Dentro mountain hut from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Lagorai mountain range. From Fossernica di Dentro you continue on forest road to reach Malga Fossernica di Fuori, where the long descent begins that will bring us first to Caoria and then back to the arrival point at Canal San Bovo.
