Fourth and final stage of the trekking from refuge to refuge Dolomiti Palaronda Trek

MOUNTAIN DROPLETS

Water is a precious resource, especially at high altitude, where the effects of climate change are more evident and water resources are increasingly limited. For this reason, every drop counts in the high mountains and you too can make a difference. How? By avoiding wasting water to wash clothes or boots; considering that in a refuge it is not always possible to wash as at home; accepting what the menu offers, also based on the available water; limiting the use of dishes (for example, using the same glass for the second round!). These valuable tips were developed by AKU and the Alpine Guides of San Martino di Castrozza as part of the Mountain Droplets project, created to raise awareness among hikers about the responsible use of water in refuges and at high altitude!
