The Palaronda Ferrata Tour proposals are designed for lovers of Via Ferrata, who however only have a few days available.
The North Tour proposal develops on the northern side of the Pale di San Martino massif and includes the Farangole Ferrata and the Bolver Lugli at Cimon della Pala, recently renovated. Overnight stays take place at the Mulaz Refuge and the Rosetta Refuge, with departure and arrival from Passo Rolle.
MOUNTAIN DROPS
Water is a precious resource, especially at high altitude, where the effects of climate change are more evident and water resources are increasingly limited. For this reason, every drop counts in the high mountains and you too can make a difference. How? By avoiding wasting water to wash clothes or boots; taking into account that at the refuge it is not always possible to wash as at home; accepting what the menu offers, also based on the water available; limiting the use of dishes (for example by using the same glass for the second round!). These valuable tips have been drafted by AKU and the Alpine Guides of San Martino di Castrozza as part of the Mountain Drops project, born to raise awareness among hikers about the responsible use of water in refuges and at high altitude!
