Cycle-pedestrian route Paneveggio - Passo Rolle - San Martino di Castrozza - Caoria

Discovering extraordinary nature: between the Dolomites and the porphyry of Lagorai.This itinerary crosses iconic places of the Park: Paneveggio, Val Venegia, Baita Segantini, Passo Rolle with the extraordinary view of the Pale di San Martino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and also allows a deeper understanding of historical and cultural aspects with visits to the "Ethnographic Trail of Vanoi" and the "Museum of the Great War".Along this route it is possible to experience some extraordinary places and natural contexts of the Park. In Paneveggio, during the summer season, it is possible to visit the "Terra Foresta" Visitor Center which tells the story of the great spruce forest, known as the "Forest of Violins" for the resonance wood used by luthiers of all times. At Passo Rolle, you get an extraordinary view of Cimon della Pala, and at Tognola you encounter the "Panoramic Balcony over the Dolomites": from here, the view spans from the porphyry chain of Lagorai to the Feltrine Peaks, passing through the impressive group of the Pale di San Martino. In the Vanoi Valley, you can explore the "Ethnographic Trail", a "journey through time and space".
