First stage of the Croda Granda - Agner Wild Trek with a variant that avoids climbing the Regade trail by passing through Domadore
The first section from Sagron Mis to Passo Cereda remains unchanged compared to the official route and leads from Chalet Giasenei (Sagron Mis) to the locality of Bastie, passing through Matiuz and then continuing along the municipal road to the locality of “Padreeterno” and finally to the small church of Santa Rita.
From the locality of Bastie, leave trail no. 718 – AV2 on the left and continue straight ahead until reaching the forest road. Cross a wide clearing; the road descends gently until reaching the locality of Le Frate. At the hairpin bend, turn left onto a well-marked trail with white-and-red paint markings, then keep left. The track on the right leads to the chapel dedicated to Santa Rita, surrounded by the tranquillity of the unspoiled landscape.
