Caladora from Val Venegia

A classic and comfortable itinerary allowing you to ski along the western ridge of Val Venegia.

The starting point is just near Pian dei Casoni, where you can comfortably park your vehicle. After an easy climb alongside the Travignolo torrent, the view widens to embrace the magnificence of the Pala Group as you enter Val Venegia.

After passing Malga Venegia, the climb begins alongside the meadows and woods on the western side of the Valley. After La Manda, the climb continues at a leisurely pace until reaching the ridge below Cima Valles and Cima Venegiota. Once in Caladora, you will enjoy a particularly suggestive view of the Pala Group, and by making a full turn, also a complete view of Col Margherita and the nearby Cima Bocche.

After removing your skins, you head down in the opposite direction to the climb, allowing a suggestive descent to Malga Venegiota, followed by a comfortable return first to Malga Venegia and then to Pian dei Casoni.

The unique landscape and comfortable route allows numerous stops on the way up and down, making the most of the surroundings.
