There is a sound that, once heard, is never forgotten. Sharp, sudden, powerful, and capable of cutting through the silence of the mountain like an arrow. It is the whistle of the marmots, and this morning we are going to seek it out. An excursion taking place near the great Pala, with an ascent via a newly constructed forest road and a descent along a path, in search of the marmot with an educational program about its characteristics and how to behave around this animal.
