Discover a guided hike in Valle di Primiero that takes you to the heart of alpine tradition: Malga Pala, above San Martino di Castrozza, among the pastures and forests of the Dolomites. A true Malga among pastures, cowbells, milking, and stories from the herders.
- Visit a Malga rich in animals and history
- Learn to milk a cow
- Watch how the traditional Primiero cheeses are prepared
The path leads to a real mountain malga, where you can experience the life of alpine grazing up close: cows grazing, cowbells, milking, and tales from the herders who preserve ancient knowledge. An authentic experience to learn about work at altitude and the production of milk and cheeses from the area.
After the visit, you can stop to enjoy typical dishes from the Trentino tradition, immersed in a unique alpine landscape. An easy hike in Trentino, suitable for families, perfect for those looking for a genuine experience among nature, culture, and local flavors.
The malga is located near the arrival of the Colverde cable car; if there is a participant unaccustomed to walking, they can comfortably take the lift up to 100 meters from the malga and easily arrive for the educational activity.
Attention: to participate in the malga experience, there is a fee to be paid directly to the facility. The cost is 9 € for adults and 6 € for children and includes the activity dedicated to discovering milking and cheese production, with a final tasting of some typical malga products.
