An unforgettable crossing in the heart of the Pale di San Martino: from the Rosetta plateau to the Pradidali Refuge, through lunar landscapes, high-altitude panoramas, and spectacular Dolomite trails to the wild Val Canali.
One of the most spectacular and complete excursions in the Dolomites, a true journey into the heart of the Pale di San Martino through unique high-altitude environments and extraordinary views. The day will begin with the cable car ascent to the Rosetta Plateau, at about 2600 meters in altitude. From here,
the crossing will begin along the vast Dolomite plateau, a nearly lunar landscape surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Pale di San Martino. Walking among rocks, valleys, and incredible scenic glimpses, you will reach the Pedrotti Refuge, then continue beyond the Fradusta glacier area until you arrive at the Pradidali Pass. From the pass, the descent will begin toward the picturesque Pradidali Refuge, nestled among imposing Dolomite walls. The excursion will then continue along paths leading into the beautiful Val Canali, through woods, streams, and spectacular views, until the end of the trekking. From Val Canali, you will finally take the bus back to San Martino di Castrozza. A long and fulfilling excursion, perfect for those who wish to experience an authentic high mountain experience in the heart of the Dolomites.
